Our barista training

All of our Baristas go through an extensive training period.

All our baristas go through an extensive training period so they can wear the coveted black tee-shirt.  Learning begins studying in a classroom with practical training in our training centre. Next they join their team serving a practical apprenticeship in a store, trained by a Maestro, until passing an advanced coffee making test where they master each of our coffee recipes.

We like to provide a personal service at Green Caffè Nero, we take pride in knowing how to create coffee specific to the taste of our customers, and being able to have a drink ready before a regular customer has even ordered it!


We take a lot of pride in our craft and like to share our expertise with others. We have a set of internal competitions that run each year. The winners of each can then take part in national competitions; from the Polish Barista Championship, Cup Tasting and Coffee Olympics to Art Latte.
